HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

How are call charges calculated?

Calls to any Australian landline (i.e. not cellphones) are charged at 10c flat rate.

All other call (i.e. calls to Australian cellphones or international) are charged per 30 seconds (or part thereof) at the published rate.  If the balance runs out during a call, the call will be terminated.

How can I check my account and/or balance?
From your SPANtalk phone, simply dial "11", and your current balance will be read aloud.  If you have not yet recharged your SPANtalk account, or if the balance has reached zero then you will get a Not Available (i.e. Busy) tone.

To check your account transactions, login to the SPANtalk website and click on the "View My Usage" menu option in the "My Finance" menu.  Note that the database on the web server is not up-to-date, so may be some time before your recent transactions appear. 

How can I recharge my account?
Login to the SPANtalk website, click on the "Recharge My Credit" menu option in the "My Finance" menu, and enter your credit card details when requested.

Note that the entire User Management section of the SPANtalk website is run from a secure web service, so you will notice the lock symbol in the browsers status bar, and that https: protocol is used.
